1964 - A Hard Day's Night
The Beatles' 3rd album, 1964's A Hard Day's Night was a huge leap forward for the Band. For the first time a Beatles album included nothing but original songs. In fact it wouldn't be until 1966's Revolver that another Beatles album would be without a single cover song. The album was the soundtrack to The Beatles groundbreaking movie of the same name.
All 13 songs on the album were Lennon/McCartney originals marking the only time a Beatles album contained nothing but Lennon/McCartney songs.
"Can't Buy Me Love" and the title track "A Hard Day's Night" were among the hit songs on the album. "And I Love Her," "Things We Said Today," and "If I Fell" are also classic Beatles tracks on this monumental album.
